One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, was for its proximity to the beach and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Straight across the street, less than 100 yards to step into the ocean. Another feature we liked was that the hotel provided towels and chairs to take from the hotel to the beach. This came in very handy one afternoon when the people hiring out the sun beds on the beach wanted to charge us a full days rental $63.00, for only 3 hours, for 2 x sun beds and 1 x sun shade. We ended up getting the chairs (for free) from the hotel and bought a sun shade in a shop on Collins Avenue for $39.99, which we were able use on subsequent days. We also took advantage of the free cycles from the hotel as well. Using them to ride from 12th Street on South Beach on up to 96th Street on North Beach, along the excellent cycle path. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We liked the fact that they were not in our face and offered help or suggestions when we asked for it. We like to be left alone when on vacation, so asked for our room not to be made up. This request was respected, as well as another we had for some extra coffee pods, so that we could make some in our room. I’d also like to point out that every review I had read of all hotels in the South Beach area said that car parking was a problem and that it would cost about $44.00 per day. With a rental collected from Miami International Airport, I was not looking forward to paying this much each day. I mentioned this to the front desk staff upon arrival and was politely directed to a car park on 13th Street and Collins, less than 50 yards from the hotel which only charged $20.00 per 24hr period. The only disappointment with this came when we ventured out on a Friday evening and found the car park full when returning at 21:00. We had to park in an alternative car park on Collins Avenue, which charged $25.00 per 5hr period. I'd also like to add that the in room WI-FI was excellent.

The property was perfectly located on the strip, plenty of entertainment around you and some great people watching. Room was huge! We had plenty of room for two massage tables side by side without moving anything around. Bathroom was beautiful and clean. Housekeepers were efficient and prompt. Never had a dirty room when we returned from lunch or the beach. The Kanoli, the restaurant that rents the front of the hotel, was just as great as the hotel and even though they are independent they seem connected. The staff there treated us like friends and family by the end of the visit, welcoming us by name when we came home. While some people mention the noise, we were right above the restaurant (second floor front) and brought a simple noise white noise machine, just in case we wanted to try to sleep before 11. It worked well to drown out anything that may be disturbing from the street or restaurant.

Such a good location, free bikes to use. Great rooms, really big for South Beach. They are tiled, which is so much better than some nasty carpet. Our room had a good sized closet, with iron, hairdryer, small fridge, and a huge bathroom (tub AND shower). Very comfy bed, and a thermostat you could adjust yourself, if need be. Staff was very helpful and accomodating - great service! All staff was really great, they deserve much kudos for their service, housekeeping too. If you're arriving by car with a lot of luggage, like us, drive up the alley behind the hotel, and go through the back and get the luggage trolley. Can also recommend relaxing by the pool at Hotel Victor (one of the hotels you can use the pool at), since it has a nice view of the beach. Small, but very nice. Can absolutely recommend this hotel!

everything was top class, loved everything about the hotel, especially its location on the bolovard , BE AWARE YOU ARE ON THE BOARDWALK AND MUSIC IS WELL INTO THE NIGHT, 1AM OR 2AM , WE ARE 70 YEAR OLD OAPs and in bed by midnightm be it is wat it is, so DONT TAKE CHILDREN IT IS LOUD, WE LOVED IT, 2 NIGHTS was enough for the visit the hotel reception is on the front, but you can park to unload, book in, go to your room , but then you need to put your car in a large municipal car park just around the corner, 5 min walk, no problems, security and $20 1 day,

Super convenient location, right in the middle of South Beach. 5 min walk from Versace Residence, bars and restaurants. Our room was facing the courtyard so we could hear music from the restaurant in the evening, once you closed the window it was very quiet. Nice room, nothing fancy, furniture ware w bit old, but the hotel has a great atmosphere. Front desk people were very friendly and offered to make fresh coffee for the communal coffee station. Public parking was just around the corner. Free bikes for guests use.
